welcome! a Letter From The President

Welcome visitors, friends, sisters and alumni! Founded in 1870, Kappa is one of the oldest women's fraternities, and represents, at its core, friendship, leadership and scholarship. Kappa promotes a broad college experience in terms of scholarship, intellectual development and self-growth, all of which our Stanford Kappas truly exemplify within our chapter and the larger Stanford community. We are vibrant, energetic and well-rounded women. Our members continue to excel academically, athletically, professionally and in all other realms of the Stanford community.
I can honestly say that my involvement as a member and leader of Kappa has been one of the biggest and best parts of my experience at Stanford.
This year's chapter council is motivated and excited to promote internal enthusiasm and bonding within our chapter as well as in the larger Stanford community. This winter, our adivsors welcomed the new officers in with an incredibly informative Officer Training for the first time, which we hope to continue annually. Also, National's Leadership Consultant, Kate Green, paid Beta Eta Deuteron a visit mid-January and really helped us identify our strengths and areas of improvement as a chapter.
