Beta Mu at the University of Colorado

Beta Mu was established in 1901 at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.  Since that time, Kappa Kappa Gamma has had a strong presence on campus and in the Boulder community.  Today, the women of the Beta Mu chapter are involved in a wide variety of activities and leadership roles that include varsity athletics, Panhellenic office, and Student Ambassadors to name a few.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization founded on the core principles of Friendship, Leadership and Scholarship. Kappa's around the world embrace positive ethical principles, sisterhood, and opportunities for leadership and personal growth.  As times have changed, the core values of Kappa Kappa Gamma have remained the same.  Looking to the future, Kappa Kappa Gamma will remain one of the leading women's fraternities with a passion for excellence in education, service and relationships.

Being part of KKG at CU has been an incredible experience.  As a member of the sorority, I have made lifelong friendships.  I have also had the opportunity to learn about and practice being a leader.  I have gained skills and experiences that I would not have found in the classroom.  Overall, I have been able to take away many things from my time in Kappa that will help me throughout the rest of my life. Not only has Kappa made my college experience better, but I also know that it will continue to enrich my life as I transition to the role of an alumnae.  I hope one day Kappa Kappa Gamma will be as special to you as it is to me.
