Beta Omicron at Tulane University
Founded at Newcomb College in May of 1904, the Beta Omicron chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the oldest Greek organizations on Tulane's campus. The ideals and values of friendship, leadership, and scholarship on which the Fraternity itself was founded upon still burn strongly and birghtly in the hearts of the Kappa sisters at Tulane University.
Beta Omicron holds an active place in Tulane's Greek community. Locally, Kappa Kappa Gamma can provide a welcoming "home away from home" for any woman who wants to pursue new avenues, challenge conventional wisdom, and seek a leadership organization whose main goal is the success of each individual member. Members of the Beta Omicron chapter can support each other and learn about themselves while participating in philanthropic endeavors, academic pursuits, social events, and leadership opportunities.
