Beta Tau at Syracuse University
Beta Tau Chapter
Kappa Kappa Gamma, Beta Tau Chapter, is a sisterhood of women at Syracuse University, dedicated to living by the ultimate Greek ideals of goodness, truth and beauty. Beta Tau Chapter was founded at Syracuse University on October, 19th, 1883-- we were the 25th chapter of Kappa to be founded. This year, we celebrate our 125th anniversary at SU!
Our house stands high on the hill on Comstock Avenue since 1934. Our house was built for its purpose, which is why the rooms are all similar in size and are all located off of one major hallway.
During the First World War, our house was the center for university Red Cross activities. And during the Second World War, when there were not enough members of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity left on campus, the Kappa’s took over their job of ringing the Crouse College bells.
While the KKG house provides a place to live, it has also grown to mean so much more to its members. Living in the house allows you to create life-long friendships, memories and the ability to form a deep connection to Kappa. Immediately entering 743, memories always come flooding back to a college experience filled with laughter and friends that turned into sisters.
This is Kappa. This is Home.
