Beta Tau at Syracuse University
Panhellenic Recruitment
As 2008-2009 Recruitment Chairmen for Kappa Kappa Gamma, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage all of you to participate in the 2009 Spring Recruitment. There are numerous benefits to joining Greek life, as well as going through the Recruitment process. Through the two-week Recruitment process, you, as a potential new member, will have the opportunity to get to know many of our sisters and find out more about Kappa's traditions, philanthropy, events and sisterhood. We find that the most important aspect of joining a sorority is the chance to meet amazing women that may become your lifelong sisters and friends, all of which starts at Recruitment. For us, Kappa has offered a memorable college experience and friends who will be in our hearts long after we graduate. We are both so excited for Spring recruitment, and we look forward to meeting all of you!
Sincerely,
The Membership Chairmen, Beta Tau Chapter
Kappa Kappa Gamma

Kappa's Recruitment Process:
Spring Recruitment takes place over two weekends in February, divided into four rounds. The first round enables potential new members to meet a variety of girls from our chapter, and gives us the opportunity to meet you! Next is our Philanthropy round where you learn about our volunteer efforts for Reading is Fundamental (RIF), and what Kappa represents. The third round allows potential new members to get a closer look at our chapter house with house tours provided by other sisters. Each room is themed to educate you about our various activities in which we participate. The final round is Preference Round, which shows you what Kappa means to us, and helps you discover which chapter best fits you.
Requirements:
Kappa Kappa Gamma requires a potential member to have attained at least a "B" average from high school or a "C+" for the previously completed term as a full-time university student. A chapter's standing rule for Academics and Membership Selection can be higher than the Fraternity Bylaw for academic requirements.
Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have.
