Dear Sisters, Alumnae, and Guests,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website for Delta Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Founded back in 1870, Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the oldest women’s fraternities that has now become an international organization. Following our fraternity motto, “A Tradition of Leadership”, we, the sisters of Delta Nu, maintain Kappa ideals of scholarship, leadership, sisterhood, and philanthropy as we embark on our many endeavors. The programming that Kappa Kappa Gamma offers truly prepares each sister for life after college, but more importantly provides her a stable and supportive environment to be a part of while here as an undergrad. At Delta Nu, we utilize all the opportunities given to us and encourage every sister to strive for her highest level of achievement. Being that UMass is a large university, Delta Nu provides members that home away from home, taking a large campus community and making it into something more familiar and intimate. Delta Nu chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma means something different to each of its members, however I truly believe that we would all agree that we would not be the women we are today had we not joined this sorority.
Presiding as chapter president has truly been a honor and I consider myself privileged to be given the chance to manage and oversee the development and growth of our chapter, not to mention our place within the entire Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity. The magnitude of what my memories and experiences mean to me is nearly impossible to express in words, but, with out a doubt, they will last a lifetime.
