Epsilon Chi at Dartmouth College
A Letter from The President
Welcome to Kappa Kappa Gamma at Dartmouth College! Kappa is one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. Founded in 1870, it now boasts 136 collegiate chapters and nearly 300 active alumnae associations. More than 230,000 Kappas have been initiated since the fraternity's founding. Kappas supports and promotes various aspects of the college experience, including scholarship, philanthropy, inter-personal relationships and self-growth. Dartmouth Kappa exemplifies commitment to these ideals both within the chapter and as members of the Dartmouth community. Our members excel in the classroom, on the playing fields, in their extracurricular pursuits, and in professional world after they leave Hanover.
Kappa has been the cornerstone of my Dartmouth experience both as a member and house leader. Our current exec board began during Spring 2011 and is motivated to improve our organization both in terms of internal support to members and our external relationships at Dartmouth. We look forward to maintaining Kappa's success and proactively working on areas for improvement during the coming year.
