Social Functions
Kappas at Clemson enjoy a year full of fun social activities and events, creating memories that last a life time. To name a few:
- "Kidnap" your date for our first fall function, Kappa Kidnap. Put on your cowboy boots and catch the hayride to Pumpkintown for some BBQ and a great band.
- Mixers and crush parties from Halloween, Superheroes, Tacky Christmas, Dukes of Hazard, and Woodstock to name a few, all located in walking distance at various vendors in downtown Clemson.
- Around Christmas we venture to the local Clemson Downes nursing home to sing carols and deliver cookies and cards.
- Get ready for then end of fall semester with the Christmas Semiformal, The Snowball at 356.
- Numerous "Sisters Only" events, usually held on the hall. New members get to know their new Key sisters and older members over pizza or ice cream socials on the Kappa hall.
- Kick off spring semester with Kappa's Sapphire Ball, our formal usually held at a restaurant in local Anderson, SC.
- In the spring we look forward to dancing the night away with a great band at our Back In Blue function with Delta Delta Delta. Later, around St. Patrick's Day invite your date to Kappa's O'Pat! celebration.
- Kappa's look forward to the Greek events around campus throughout the year. These events include, Greek Week (a type of Olympics for all Greek chapters on campus), Homecoming Week, First Friday Parade, and Sigma Chi's Derby Days.
