Letter from our President:
Welcome to Kappa Kappa Gamma at UCR!
As Chapter President I feel so privileged to be surrounded by the amazing and beautiful women of the Epsilon Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma here at the University of California Riverside! Thank you so much for visiting our website because it is here where you will see how our sisterhood, scholarship, friendship, leadership, and philanthropic efforts are aspects of our chapter that we value, cherish, and hold dear to our hearts. Our chapter is the largest Greek Sorority on campus holding over 90 women in the chapter. Kappa Kappa Gamma challenges women to make something amazing of themselves – constantly pushing them to reach their full potential each and every day of their lives. Each woman in this sorority is intelligent, talented, hard working, loyal, kind, unique, a sister you can always count on, and so much more! The women in this chapter are not only my sisters, but my life-long friends, who I will be forever grateful of knowing.
Nationally, our sorority upholds a tradition of leadership, scholarship and friendship. Not only do our UCR Kappas uphold these traditions but we also strive towards greatness in spirit, campus involvement, community service and the bonds of sisterhood. Many of our women are on the highlander dance team, the UCR Cheer squad, work for ASUCR, and one sister even holds the position of President of Order of Omega – a National Honor Society for Greek fraternities and sororities.
The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma constantly amaze me at how helpful and inspiring they are to each other. Kappa Kappa Gamma at UCR prides itself for having the most amazing sisterhood on campus which sets us apart from all others! Just recently our chapter won the Friendship Pillar Award in recognition of our outstanding sisterhood, when one of our sister’s father was going through chemotherapy our chapter helped raise 10,000 for his medical expenses, and around campus we are known to have the largest support group wherever we go and whatever we participate in!
The most incredible and rewarding part of being a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma has been the friendships made. I fell in love with Kappa the moment I walked in their room during recruitment, because the girls were so incredibly genuine, bright, and outgoing. The relationships that have been made over the years are ones that will last forever. These women are the type of girls that can make you laugh until your stomach hurts, offer a shoulder to cry on, study for hours on end in the library with, or just sit in a room with you and be able to talk about nothing and everything for hours. Kappa has become not just a sorority I am a part of, but my family and foundation.
Kappa Kappa Gamma has been my college life-saver and I am so honored to wear our letters with pride! Thank you so much for your interest in Kappa Kappa Gamma, and please contact me if you have any questions or comments!
