Eta Delta at Valparaiso University
Campus Activities
Kappa Kappa Gammas love to be involved on campus! We hold our own philanthropy events, as well as attend those hosted by other organizations.
Kappa Kappa Gamma co-hosts a "Fall Festival" with another sorority every year. Fall Festival is a sorority recruitment event for Potential New Members. We make caramel apples, and have crafts available, as well as setting up tables for Potential New Members to talk to active sorority members. Fall Festival continues to be a very successful event before sorority recruitment.
The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma recognize the importance of Greek unity, and because of this we participate in other sorority and fraternity events. A few philanthropy activities we actively participate in include Sigma Chi’s Derby Days, Theta Chi’s 24 hour basketball tournament, Kappa Delta’s Wingo, Delta Delta Delta’s Valpo at Bat, Phi Kappa Psi’s Phi Psi 500, and Baccus/Gamma’s mocktails competition. All of their proceeds benefit the organization’s charitable focus.
Kappa Kappa Gammas are involved in at least one of the following activities on campus: Kantorei, PRSSA, Student Nurse Association, Sigma Theta Tau, Order of Omega, Habitat for Humanity, Senior Planning Council, Student Alumni Association, Student Nurses Association, Bridges to Foreign Languages, IAC, Phi Alpha Theta, Judicial Board, SAAFE and Empowerment Board Delegate, Pre Law Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, VU Ballroom, House Council, Spark PR, PRSSA, AWC, Scheele Hall RA, VU Cheerleading, Bacchus/GammaAbroad, Pi Gamma Mu, Society of Women in Engineering, Sweetwine, Greek InterVarsity, WVUR, Assoc. for Women in Comm., SWE, ASCE, Alpha Lambda Delta, Charisma, Student Nurses Association, Billiard League, Dance Ensemble, Mortar Board, Study Buddies, College Mentors for Kids, Union Board, The Torch, Ultimate Frisbee, VU Club Soccer, and Study Abroad Programs in France, England, Mexico, Spain, and Germany.
