Welcome Sisters, Alumnae, and Guests,
I would like to personally thank you for looking into the Eta Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Loyola University Chicago.
I am the President of Eta Lambda Chapter and I am a Senior majoring in Elementary Education at Loyola. It is hard to believe that I am wrapping up my last year here, and as an active member in Kappa. When I think back to what my college experience has been, I think of three words: Kappa Kappa Gamma. I truly cannot imagine what my life would be like had I not become apart of this organization. Kappa has opened up so many opportunities for me that I would have never imagined were possible. The friendships I have made are forever.
Eta Lambda truly holds some of the most extraordinary women I have ever met. We are more than just a sorority or a group of women, we are sisters who work together. This natural support system I see between Kappas everyday is what keeps us together. It was this support between sisters that I noticed and admired about Kappa when I went through recruitment Fall of my freshman year, and I knew it was something I had to be apart of it. I have formed some of the strongest friendships of my life. The ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma have taught me what it means to be a good friend and showed me that these are the ladies I can and always will count on. The sisterhood we share in Kappa Kappa Gamma gives friendship a whole new meaning.
