Events
In addition to Philanthropy Gamma Iota also hosts Social and Sisterhood events. Throughout the year we have various memorable events. From formal events to theme parties and from float trips to opportunities to get together and eat, all of our events give our sisters a place and time to all be together.
Kappa Kamp-Out
In the Fall when sisters return from the summer, Gamma Iota takes a camping trip to go floating, BBQ, and catch up with sisters. The girls have a great time putting up tents, meeting sisters who were abroad in the Spring semester and enjoying the warm weather.
Founders' Day
Gamma Iota celebrates the founding of Kappa Kappa Gamma with a brunch that invites St. Louis area alumnae. Sisters get the opportunity to learn about other members' experiences in Kappa and learn about how traditions have evolved and how they have stayed the same.
Mixers, Formals & Fun
Social events allow sisters to unwind and get creative with their costumes! Most events are off campus and allow the girls to get away from campus and have fun with sisters and friends.
