WELCOME!
Hello and welcome to the Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Akron!
The women of Lambda Chapter are a diverse group of women. Our sisters are involved in more than 40 activities and organizations on and off campus. Besides our leadership activities and classes, we love to have fun! Sisterhoods, socials, football games and intramurals are just a few of the activities that our sisters enjoy in our spare time. Come to our lodge and you will find us making scrap books, practicing our song and dance for Songfest, going over basketball plays for the next intramural game and bonding over popcorn and old-school movies.
But for us, the most amazing thing about Kappa is the friendships we have with our sisters. These friendships are those that will outlast our college-hood days. The women that I call my sisters are the type of women who support one another no matter what. We laugh until we cry, give advice when it's needed most, and most importantly, change each other for the better. Kappa has become more than a sorority to ME--these girls have become my family.
