Recruitment
Formal Recruitment at the University of Kansas takes place in the fall, usually one week prior to the start of the semester classes. Recruitment is a week-long mutual selection process during which potential new members will meet and talk to members of all of the Panhellenic chapters at KU. They will also have the opportunity to participate in chapter philanthropy projects, tour chapter houses and see the values and traditions that each chapter holds.

Is a reference required to pledge Kappa Kappa Gamma?
A reference is not required by Panhellenic to participate in recruitment, but it is strongly encouraged and can only help the chapter get to know a prospective member. If you would like to obtain a reference on your own, any initiated alumnae may write a reference. A personal letter from an initiated Kappa is considered a valid reference. Personal letters must include the member's chapter and initiation date to be valid.
