Zeta Beta at Lafayette College
The process of gaining membership to a fraternity or sorority at Lafayette College is called Recruitment. It is the opportunity to ask questions, get to know the organizations on campus, and tour the many houses that are part of the Greek system at large. It is a mutual selection process that allows for each house to gain a new class of members and a chance for potential new members to become a part of an organization they will be a part of and love for the rest of their lives.
Fall recruitment at Lafayette College begins September 2nd and concludes September 6th with Bid Day. There is a meeting for all potential new members with their Rho Gammas on September 1st. Within these days, prospective members have the chance to ask questions, tour houses, get acquainted with ladies from the different organizations, and find out what each house has to offer to see which sorority is the best fit for them. You will get a view of the personality of Kappa Kappa Gamma and learn about our philanthropy and everything we are involved in.
Kappa Kappa Gamma requires a potential member to have attained at least a "B" average from high school or a "C+" for the previously completed term as a full-time university student. A chapter's standing rule for Academics and Membership Selection can be higher than the Fraternity Bylaw for academic requirements.
