Kappa Kappa Gamma's most anticipated dances include a fall themed dance. Themes have changed from "We Go Together" to "Kappa's Most Wanted." Sapphire Ball, which occurs winter quarter is our more formal dance- the perfect opportunity to reuse that prom dress! Spring quarter consists of Kappa Kocktail. This year's Kocktail occurred on the roof of a hotel in Long Beach!

Kappa Kappa Gamma has multiple events during the year that enables friendships to foster across the Greek community. Aside from exchanges with various fraternities, Kappa is also paired with a sister sorority every quarter. Events including joint dessert themed campuswides and joint bbq's enabling the mingling between both chapters. There are three campus wide events throughout the year, hosted by Zeta Eta that are open to all students on the UCI campus. Please fill free to join us at any of these events!
Kappa Kappaccino is a cafe-themed campus wide during Fall Quarter. In the past, we have had saxophone player Ricky Hopkins, Claire de Lune and Circle Fifths perform at the house. Everyone enjoys a nice relaxing time mingling with Kappas while enjoying delicious pastries and hot coffee.
Kappa's Fraternity Appreciation BBQ or FAB for short is an event specifically directed towards Fraternity men within the Greek system. Last year, our "Superbowl Sunday" themed event was a huge success, with many attendees dressed in jerseys and umpire costumes. At every hour, the fraternity men were able to win a prize through participation in a "Touch Down Dance" competition and a "Superbowl Trivia" competition.
The most popular campuswide that Kappa hosts is what is known as Kappa Kantina. This Mexican themed event boasts some of the most legit, delicious carne asada there is. Grills are fired up, music is blared from speakers, and everyone who comes hungry, leaves happy. Last year, we had DJ GEO-D from Beta Theta Pi guest DJ our event, adding a wonderful dance environment that had people from all over campus come to the house.

Kappa Kappa Gamma also has many social events within the chapter that are designed to strengthen and reinforce sisterhood bonds. These "sisterhood events" range from sporting events to movie nights to even Disneyland excursions.
Did you know that one of the designers of Disneyland was a Kappa? The Fleur de lis, which is one of the Kappa's symbols, can be seen all throughout the themepark! One of the most memorable sisterhood events is our Disneyland sisterhood event- we had almost 80 girls sporting Kappa letters roaming around on one day! We were able to ride California Screamin and compete against each other in the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster game. What's even better is that many of us have Disneyland passes, meaning we can go back with sisters any day we want!

We recently had a wonderful trip to the Honda Center to watch one of our local sports team dominate in ice hockey- the Anaheim Ducks! This Ducks sisterhood event definitely brought out the more competitive and athletic side of many Kappas. Not only were we able to chant "Quack! Quack! Quack!" like in the Disney movies, but we were also able to have bonding time in the company of our sisters and good looking hockey players!

The newest sisterhood event that we had was planned as a murder mystery themed sisterhood event. Girls were designated as various characters and were asked to figure out who was the "murderer". Everyone had a great time solving the clues while mingling with sisters!
